I never used to love the skin I’m in,
No matter where I went I didn’t fit in,
They called me yellow,
They called me “breed”,
A tragedy like me the world didn’t need,
Then I came across some more like me,
And they were beautiful for the world and me to see,
The fruit of different races brought together,
Brothers and sisters bonded forever,
Now I know that my life is no tragedy,
For I will strive to be all that I can be,
Where ever I go, it doesn’t matter if I fit in,
Cos I really love the skin I'm in.
